RETROCARS v1.0.3

Hey! I’ve been working on this project called Retro Cars. It’s a top-down racer I've been building, and I finally have a version with 6 levels ready for people to try out.

It’s still a Work In Progress, so things might feel a bit raw, but I’d love to get some eyes on it!

How the walls work

The main mechanic I’m playing with right now is how different walls affect your car. You can’t just hit everything! Here’s the breakdown:

  • Yellow: Your standard wall. It just bounces you back normally.
  • Blue: These act like trampolines. If you hit them, they’ll launch your car away pretty fast.
  • Light Blue: This is basically "slime." It’s super sticky and will slow you down a ton if you touch it.
  • Pink: The "danger" zone. If you hit a pink wall, your car is destroyed instantly.

I need your help!

Since I’m still learning and developing this, I really need some feedback.

  2. What should I add next? I’m looking for recommendations for new mechanics, obstacles, or whatever you think would make the game more fun.
